Is it creepy for an adult to play in a Seattle fountain?

There’s a heat wave in the Pacific Northwest and at least one man in the Emerald City is concerned about which methods of cooling off are appropriate.
As a 32 year old male is there a good time to splash around in the International Fountain (Seattle Center) without looking like a pedo?
Every time I’m there it’s just tiny children, but (expletive) does it look like a fun / refreshing time. I too want to enjoy the fountain …
The man posed the question on reddit. Many responses supported the man’s need to cool off.
“Honestly, compared to the nudists that elected to bathe in the fountain a couple years ago, you should be fine!” one reddit user responded.
But if you’re the only adult frolicking in a fountain being primarily used by children, KIRO Radio’s Ron Upshaw would question the decision.
“If there are 17 kids and you’re the only adult, you don’t belong,” he said. If there are a mix of ages, it should be OK, he added.
KIRO Radio’s Rachel Belle pointed out that there are places in the world, such as theme parks, that don’t allow single adults to enter unless they meet someone at the entrance.
If the guy is talking about an amenity used primarily by children, such as the Green Lake Park
Wading Pool, KIRO Radio’s Don O’Neill said there’s no way that’s acceptable. If none of the kids in there are yours, get out, he said.
However, the International Fountain is different.
“As far as Seattle Center goes, I think anyone should be able to be in that fountain,” Don said.
