We continue with updates of Superstorm Sandy. Jenny Harvey, a KIRO employee who is vacationing in New York on the lower Eastside joins us to give us an insider perspective. Mayor McGinn has proposed a parking app to help people avoid parking tickets. Council president, Sally Clark joins us to talk the debate surrounding the parking app. Is a smart phone app a good use of your dollar? You would pull into street parking, hypothetically you might want to use your phone app and pay for parking or you've already parked and your in a meeting so you use the app to pay for your parking and thus, avoid a parking ticket. It would cost the city one million dollars to roll-out. A homelessness advocacy group hosted a 'living in a box' fundraising event. Are they minimizing what it means to be homeless? Terry shares a story of when he was homeless. Madonna has been booed for what the fifth time this year? She is making political statements.
