Major Scott Smiley, the U.S. Army’s first blind active duty officer, was honored to be able to hoist the 12th Man flag at the Seahawks game Sunday. See photos.
Smiley grew up in Pasco, Wash., went on to study at West Point and served in Iraq. It was a car bomb in Iraq that took his sight.
Smiley joined The Ron & Don Show this Veterans Day to talk about how he is continuing in his service to our country even after losing his sight. Listen to Major Scott Smiley on the podcast.
